I came in expecting a dive pizza place with frozen dough and canned marinara. I was pleasantly surprised. The dough is well made, fluffy, yeasty dough similar to Chicago style hand tossed (my favorite). I tried the cheesy pizza sticks appetizer and a calzone. The appetizer could have been a meal by itself and was fantastic. The calzone was cooked perfectly but could have used a bit more cheese on the inside. I will definitely come back for the buffet lunch or Wednesday buffet dinner to try more menu items to find my favorites.

We got there right when they opened at 4 pm on a Saturday during a busy event weekend (Tiblow Days). It's a basic dining room - no frills - but I noticed right away that the table we chose wasn't cleaned from the previous guests (and the restaurant had closed after the lunch hour). We cleaned it ourselves, no one came to wipe it down. Our party of 4 adults and 3 kids ordered the 2fer special, which is two large pizzas and cinnamon dessert for $1. The restaurant started to fill up quickly, and a few other tables received their meals. We waited more than 45 minutes for our pizzas. That's a long time to wait. We started kidding that they must have had to slaughter the pig to make the pepperoni. When the food came, it was delicious. We got a pepperoni and bacon pizza and a buffalo chicken pizza with Alfredo sauce. It was much better than your average pizza place. The cinnamon dessert pizza was very good and had just the right amount of icing. Our waitress was attentive enough but wasn't very familiar with the menu and had issues answering questions about portion sizes. I think next time we'll try carry-out and see if the wait time is better. Bottom line - I'd say 4.5 stars for food and 2 for atmosphere and cleanliness.

Not bad but not great. We went in for lunch and my family's pizza dough was undercooked, and the "loaded" salad I ordered was nothing more than lettuce and some rolled up pieces of turkey lunch meat. Don't be fooled by the "lunch buffet" either...it's just a slice of pizza and a very, very small salad buffet. Good if you're in a pinch, but not worth the drive.

Great calzones! Nice location, nice staff, and nice food. Worth the money for great handmade pizzas and a good selection of other food. Seems like something for everyone. Our server was new, but she did a great job! I will definitely be back.

Went to BSP last night with the boy's swim team, 8 on the team plus, some sibblings, we filled up the place (so the place is small). BUT the pizza was awesome! I got a thumbs up from my daughter who tried the Mighty Meat, a pepperoni, and spicy kind of pizza I don't remember. When telling my husband about it, my picky son came out of his room to tell him how much he loved it (this is a big deal...he doesn't ever come out of his room) I shared the Moon Marble Meatball pizza(beef, red onions, mushrooms, and meatballs) it was delish...we live in Western Shawnee, and I think this is gonna be our go to. OH! 3 lrg, 1Xtrlrg, 1 sm pizza, 1lrg calzone, and 8 drinks was only $100 very, VERY resonable. I'm looking forward to their pasta.

Well done indeed. We tried BSP for the first time tonight. Pizza, bread sticks and a calzone. Toppings were real meats and cheese. Crust and bread sticks were solid. We now have interfamily disagreement on the best pizza in our area thanks to Bonner springs pizza. Delivery took about an hour, but its Friday night and the pizza was hot so were OK with that. You need to give them a try.

Great pizza! Prices are all right. I haven't ever eaten at the restaurant itself but we've order out a few times. The pizza is kind of more New York style and is always pretty good. I'd much rather have this pizza any day over Pizza Hut or Papa Johns, etc. Definitely worth a try if you're in Bonner.

I absolutely love that the pizzas are made with fresh ingredients, vegetables, sauces & dough. The lunch time buffet is a great idea - if & when the kitchen can keep up with the demand on the delicious pizza! A dessert pizza, some dipping sauces for the bread sticks, and maybe a salad choice for the buffet would help to round-out the buffet - helping the diners to have other alternatives than the pizza, so the kitchen can keep up. The grinder sandwiches, pizza - and the ICE CREAM - is absolutely delicious! Enjoyed the meal as a whole and will definitely be returning
